What happens when people dying with AIDS get access to life-saving treatments? Life happens again. People who were once dying with AIDS bounce back, even returning to work or school within forty days. All of these vital programs are in jeopardy with the current cuts being considered by Congress. Shayne Moore says in 2002 50-thousand people were getting this medicine but now nearly 4-million Africans are receiving the life-saving A-R-V’s at a cost of about 40-cents a day from America. Yet now over concerns of cutting the national debt there could be major changes to the program.
