Once Blind

Kay Marshall Strom employs the legacy of John Newton to call attention to 21st century slavery throughout the world.  John Newton was a broken and desperate man testified to millions of his transformation from the worst of the worst to a ringing voice of God.  Newton is the author of the wonderful hymn, “Amazing Grace.” Strom believes that Newton’s fight against slavery two centuries ago is a very relevant call to action for believers today.  Bringing awareness to modern-day slavery is Stom’s passion.

Forsaken

This is a great story about Simon Mason, the world’s most famous evangelist and his security agent Taylor Pasbury.  Forsaken is a book that you won’t want to put down.  Mason’s daughter, Kacey, is kidnapped and the terrorists demand that he denounce Christ.  Can he publically deny Christ?  Will the terrorists return his daughter alive?  Forsaken is an intense and engrossing book that will make you ask the question - what would you do if you were in Simon Mason’s shoes?  Do you choose your faith, your life’s work or your daughter?  The choice seems difficult.  What would you do?  This is a thought provoking questions that could relate to our everyday lives.  What would we do?
